SASCO to embark on a nation-wide Free Education march

The South African Students Congress (SASCO) will be embarking on a nation-wide free education march across the Republic of South Africa. The march begun with campus protests on 22 July in all SASCO branches in the country. This will be followed by provincial marches in all provinces on 24 July and 25 July in the Eastern Cape province. The national march will be on 25 July 2013 and will be directed to the Department of Higher Education and Training (DhET) head office in Pretoria, Gauteng. We urge all people to join our struggle against commodification of education and ensure that doors of learning are opened for all.
